Now I have placed the 2.5V (2.49V actually) reference on the protoboard and connected it to the MCP3208 ARef pin. Then I connected the Channel 7 input to ARef (2.49V) and AGND to see if the ADC outputs reasonable bits. The ADC does outputs all Highs and all Lows as expected.
So far so good. End of ADC testing. Next step is to use the CooCox semihosting thing to print out the results.
