I tested the crystal clock 2.04 MHz divided by HC4024 to 16 Hz 5Vpp for the following conditions.
1. 200VAC to 5V3 10A switching PSU disconnected and connected.
2. 200VAC to 12V 2A switching PSU + 7805 disconnected and connected.
3. Lead acid rechareable 6V 4.0AH Battery x 2 = 12 + 7805 disconnected and connected.
My conclusion is the following.
1. Noise of 200VAC direct to 5VDC is unacceptable.
2. Battery power has the least noise of about 2mVpp.
